Just doing some apartment research tonight, the one thing that frustrates me with listings between both Domain and Property.com.au services is that neither includes information on whether EV charging is available for any type of property. I get that this is probably an increasing request and lower demand, but I think it would be a good dot point for agents to consider including now. In terms of properties that are strata managed, it would be good to note their willingness to install EV charging too as it isn’t necessarily a straightforward thing for a resident.
I’ve read that for the ACT, from late 2024 new apartment complexes are required to have EV charging for resident parking, which is hugely attractive when searching. I discovered there got a website you can look up complexes in the ACT that offer EV charging to, AEVA is a great idea and something that should be rolled out across Australia.
