I’m currently driving a 2017 BMW X1 sports model, I bought it just four years ago secondhand and it has been a great car for sure. But one thing it lacks is some of the modern bells and whistles seen in the latest cars like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus its screen is a tad smaller.
Though the car has GPS navigation, I often use Waze on my iPhone due to the features the app has, but am iPhone 17 Pro is a touch small and it’s anchored off to the side meaning I’m a little distracted to see things onscreen.
So, I’m really excited to have the Hyundai Elexio’s 27-inch widescreen and the ability to truly see Waze maps at scale. I’m hoping too that Siri will actually be useful and responsive in the car, a big ask of the assistant I know, or perhaps the car’s own tech may fill that void till iOS 27 improves Siri in a big way later this year.
