On a Facebook forum for Elexio owners I noticed a post one had shared of an over-the-air (OTA) update being available for our cars. He mentioned his car had displayed a message advising of its availability and instructions about how to proceed with its installation.
Curious, the next day I checked my car as nothing had displayed for me, yet when I dug around in the menus it appears indeed there is an OTA update available. There’s no option beyond this to initiate a download or install, only the ability to install an update from USB if you have one.
A check for information about OTA updates via my trusty AI assistant, Gemini, indicates these updates are downloaded automatically as we drive, so I wonder is it that I don’t drive long enough for updates to download? I am curious what the pending update contains. For now, it would seem patience is in order.
