Good news received today at lunchtime, repairs to my Elexio have been completed ahead of time. Talking to the repairers though I discovered I’d need to pick the car up, problem being it is 2.5 hours drive from where I live.
Naturally, I queried about having it towed back as I don’t have an easy drop-off. I ended up having to get this approved by my insurer, Allianz, who I have to say have been a dream to deal with throughout this whole process. The request required manager approval, understandably, and was received about one hour later.
Hopefully, tomorrow I’ll hear from the repairers when the car will be returned and how I go about making my required payment. It’ll be weird going back to charging once more after fueling the BMW lately, though won’t be missing the cost!
