Even though I no longer live in Western Australia, I still work for an organisation based there and work to its public holidays of which one falls this Monday — thankfully! This gave me the excuse I’d been looking for to take the EV for a longer trip out of town, so far I’ve only ventured out of town once since picking it up on April 10th.
So, I’m off to our nation’s capital for two nights, Canberra, to perhaps visit galleries, eateries and most definitely the shops.
By chance, I happened to have booked into a hotel that also provided several charging bays, something that wasn’t mentioned on booking.com, though neither was the fact their elevator was being replaced which might’ve been a nicer notification.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the car notifies of where to charge as my travels today and Monday on the way home are 3-hours plus each way, will it recommend charging along the way at all? Will it be like the BMW too and suggest rest stops to avoid fatigue — of course it never suggested where to find a decent coffee to alleviate said fatigue.
