Today, I drove to Melbourne for the first time from Wagga Wagga. Most the journey was uneventful, though a few drivers who could do with slowing down and giving extra distance when switching lanes was observed often.
As I neared Melbourne’s main airport, Tullamarine, I really noticed the difference between Waze on my iPhone and the Elexio’s big screen. Several times, instructions on my iPhone came particularly late when driving in multi-lane traffic allowing me to know which lane I needed to be in, and where I was going to head next. Not that it is perfect on the Elexio either, but that added realestate makes all the difference when driving in a region you’re not familiar.
Better still is the Elexio’s inbuilt maps that where lane turns are nicely displayed, but expand the tile and it gives you upcoming turns as well taking some of the stress out of the drive.
