Foggy driving

I was out to celebrate my nephew’s third birthday last night, the pub in our town’s north has this awesome playground he and the other kids just cannot get enough of, hence their parents love the venue too.

After a few hours tuckering the kids out ready for bed, and filling everyone’s bellies, we made our way home. The weather had started to turn cold about an hour beforehand, what I hadn’t expected on my drive home was fog for a lot of my 10-minute drive, though it was pretty awesome.

What I did notice when driving was my car’s camera system wasn’t able to pick up the roadside speed signs, the dash which usually indicated the speed I “should” be doing was instead just a circle with a dash through it — had my lucky day come and the autobahn had come to Wagga Wagga, dare I risk the fine and try, or just assume it was 60 and live to drive another day. I did floor it for a bit, but only a bit, and the Elexio did respond nicely; I’m imagining the fog swirling as car and I flew at speed briefly.
