I can’t speak for other countries, but here in Australia we’re not supposed to touch mobile devices when driving, though I’m not sure about our displays — is this a grey area when having to change a setting?
Though you can issue commands via voice for car-based apps, apps for CarPlay and Android Auto you’re able to issue some commands but then interactivity with apps like Waze you’re out in the cold.
It would be nice to issue a command via Android Auto to say “Tell Waze Speed Camera” or “Tell Waze Still There” thereby alleviating the need to interact with the screen.
