Android Auto connectivity

Since swapping to Android almost two weeks ago, I have noticed a real difference between CarPlay and Android Auto in terms of stability of connection, or perhaps that is iPhone and Samsung.

The iPhone never experienced issues with wireless connectivity to the Elexio in the roughly two months I used the two together, though there was the usual issue of failing to start intermittently.

In the past almost two weeks, I have had repeated issues with Android Auto dropping its wireless with the car and the car then reconnecting and asking if I wished to connect with Android Auto, sometimes more than once. I’m honestly thinking I may just connect via USB C cable for stability as it is just getting annoying. Looking at the Bluetooth strength indicator on the car’s dash it shows a poor connection, often zero bars despite being in the car. I’ve got the power saving in Bluetooth turned off in my phone but no improvement is noticed.

Research to be done I guess, perhaps there’s hidden settings in there phone?
